Metering capital charges

If you're in Qld and especially if you have solar, you might see these on your current retailer's bill. You won't on ours.

In Qld there are such things as:

• metering capital charge
• metering non-capital charge
• solar capital metering charge
• solar non-capital metering charge

As if energy prices weren't complicated enough already!

At Energy Locals we like simple things, so unless someone holds a gun to our head and tells us we need to go into this tortuous detail, we won't.

You won't see any of these items on your bill. We include anything that we're required to in our simple unit rates (i.e. the daily charge and unit rate).
